Today Serious Gaming is proud to announce the addition of Kevin "RotterdaM" van der Kooi to our Warcraft III division. 

This experienced player has been playing Warcraft III on the highest level for years in such leagues as the Warcraft 3 Champions League and NGL One. He has traveled the globe to compete in tournaments including a one month stay in China earlier this year and is a former EuroCup champion.

But he is not only a strong player, RotterdaM is known throughout the community as a friendly and good natured person. He knows, and is on good foot with, practically the entire Warcraft III team and Serious Gaming management. Because of this we know he will fit right in and we anticipate that we will have a long relationship.

With this addition our Warcraft III division is ready to take on the upcoming Warcraft 3 Champions League qualifier. Of course we are already competing in a top tier league, after beating fnatic Team and Meet Your Makers in the NGL One Professional League we are confident we can finish strongly and RotterdaM's presence will only boost the team morale.

Statement RotterdaM
I was not planning to switch teams but sometimes things go don't exactly how you planned it, after fnatic disbanded I had to think of what I would do. Retire, continue without a team or join a new team. I decided to pick the last option since I'm actually quite motivated at the moment and willing to train a lot in the future for new tournaments after some time where I was quite lazy. I'm happy serious asked me to join them since I know their players. I hope I can help them to achieve their goals in the future and grow as player and as a team.

Statement management
We are very happy with RotterdaM's decision to join the team, he is a player we have had our eyes on for quite a while. There already exists a strong personal bond between RotterdaM and the team, so it feels like he is a longtime member already. All in all we now have a host of extremely motivated players who are looking forward to earning a name as one of the world's strongest Warcraft III divisions.
