Tomorrow at 12:00 CET the last big Quake 4 tournament of 2007 will take place at the Newbury Racecourse in Berkshire. Serious Gaming will be represented at the tournament by the reigning Quake 4 world champion, Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski.

This article contains the seedings, prize pool, schedule as well as the map pool for the i-32 event and a preview of the best players participating.

Seeded as number one is Johan "Toxjc" Quick, the most succesful Quake 4 player ever. He has won a number of events so far this year, including QuakeCon and two stops of the World Series of Video Games. He is sponsored by Fatal1ty's Free Player Organisation and the man to beat at this event.

Seeded as number two is Maciej "av3k" Krzykowski, winner of the 2007 Electronic Sports World Cup. av3k won several tournaments this year and is seen as the main challenger to Toxjc. Circumstances have led to them only meeting at two tournaments so far this season, and this competition will serve as the tie-breaker.

At number three comes Tim "DaHanG" Fogarty, runner-up of the World Series of Video Games stop in Toronto. DaHanG emerged as the strongest USA player this season following the retirement of some of their veteran professional gamers. He came very close to beating Toxjc in Toronto and will be looking for a re-match.

At number four comes Alexey "Cypher" Yanusheuski, runner-up of the 2006 Electronic Sports World Cup. Cypher emerged as one of the biggest talents last year and has finished high in many top tier competitions so far throughout 2007. He is sponsored by team fnatic and given his young age should have a bright future in Death match gaming.

Of course this competition includes many other fine duelers. None of which have to go empty handed as the prize purse extends to the top 12.
