This past weekend the Dreamhack Summer event took place in Jönköping and Serious Gaming's Hjalmar 'DowaQ' Högberg and Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi were present.

DowaQ competed in his national ESWC qualifier and succesfully qualified for the global finals in San Jose, California by beating a number of Swedish's finest players.

Meaning he took 2nd place behind Kim 'SaSe' Hammar and will be joining SonKiE, av3k (Q4) and  RotterdaM as the team's delegation to the $250.000 tournament. KiWiKaKi as well as our  DotA division will be competing at their national finals for a chance to compete in the tournament as well.

Next to the qualifiers a Warcraft III competition also took place at the event in which DowaQ and RotterdaM competed. Some of the world's strongest Warcraft III players competed for the 20.000 sek first place prize money including MYM]Ciara, FuRy, PGS.LiLD.C & SaSe.
